Szechwan Peppercorns

After eating a Little Asia in Oakland (Pittsburgh), I found that Szechwan peppercorns are a fun way to add some flavor to an Asian dish. They add a little heat, but most importantly, they cause your tongue to feel tingly and slightly numb. Unfortunately, I added too many to my stir fry, and both mine and Kat’s tongues ended up completely numb by the end of the meal. Still, it was very tasty!
