Blog Stats

Being a math/science geek, I’ve always been interested in stats.  So, when I found out that I could look at stats on my blog, I got pretty excited.  And they’re extensive!

Blog Stats 20100421

I can look at how many people have looked at my blog each day, what pages they looked at, what links they clicked on…all sorts of creeper info.  (Don’t worry, I don’t get to see who each person is or which people clicked on what.)

The coolest thing, though, is looking at the chart that shows how many people look at my blog each day.  If you look on the 14th, there is a huge spike, nearly triple the highest point!  Turns out that my blog was put on StumbleUpon that day, and it generated quite a bit of traffic.

Even so, I’m getting more traffic than I expected, and it’s increasing each day.  I thought only friends and family would read this blog, but the numbers are just too high to be purely from that.

So here’s my question to you:  Who are you?  Just post a quick comment to let me know who my readers are!  I’d really appreciate it.

    It’s meeeee. You read my blog so I got all caught up on yours, from January 2009 until the most recent stats blog. You write a lot. And take lots of pictures. What’s funny is in January 2009 you said “I bet I’m not still doing this a year from now.” And um… you are!

    I miss you! But your adventures and travels sound amazing. Make the most of it. You’ll hate coming back here, haha. Except I’m here and we can have our obligatory 2 get-togethers a year. Sounds fun huh?

    Sarah =)

    It’s my first time to read your blog and I think it’s very interesting. You should not get tired from doing it. You write very well.
