Fourth of July

Dave, Erica, Steve, and I spent the weekend in Hershey for the Fourth of July. We spent Friday evening in Harrisburg for a mini music festival. Saturday, we went to State College to see their fireworks, which are supposedly some of the best in the country.

To be honest, I was a little under-impressed with the State College fireworks. They were definitely great, but I think they’re only a little bit higher-level than the ones in Pittsburgh. The music that was played along with the fireworks was definitely cool; they didn’t just play patriotric songs like Pittsburgh does, but included songs like “Circle of Life” from The Lion King and “He’s a Pirate” from Pirates of the Caribbean.

I’m really proud of the some of the pictures I took this weekend; I think they’ve turned out, overall, better than anything else I’ve taken so far. So, if you haven’t looked at any albums of mine yet, I would highly recommend this one.
