Walking down the street today, I heard a girl on her cell phone. “Can’t I just give him my email or something? … But I don’t want to send a letter! That’s so much work.”

In Japan, even email on computers is old news:

“When you say email to today’s young people, they would never think of emails you do on the computer. To them, cell phone emails are emails. There are even some users who would say, oh, I didn’t know you could do email on a computer, too.” [Gizmodo]

Just recently, scientists were able to “teleport” data between two atoms a meter apart. [Live Science]

Technology is awesome.
